 Sophia Henry is a retired First Grade Detective with the New York City Police Department, bringing more than 20 years of distinguished law enforcement experience to Lerner Consulting. Throughout her NYPD career, she led and supported complex investigations involving high-profile matters, including homicides, felonious assaults, and pattern robberies and burglaries.

Her final assignment was with the NYPD Crime Scene Unit, where she spent her years applying advanced forensic methodologies and scene analysis techniques. Prior to that, she served with both the Bronx Detective Squad Division and the Internal Affairs Bureau as a Detective Investigator, further broadening her investigative scope and institutional insight.

Following her retirement from the NYPD, Sophia continued her commitment to public service as a Detective Investigator with the Queens District Attorney’s Office under District Attorney Melinda Katz, supporting the office through its investigative hotline operations.

Sophia leverages her extensive background in criminal investigations, forensics, and crime scene analysis to provide criminal defense firms with strategic, experience-driven investigative support.
